Learn how to navigate your board with precision.
Stand still and shift weight from heels to toes using ankle pressure only. Keep legs straight and feel the board respond beneath you.
Start with 90-degree kick turns. Lift the nose, pivot on the tail, and set down cleanly. Increase rotation angle as you progress through sets.
Wide, sweeping carves at moderate speed. Lean into each turn from the ankles up. Keep shoulders aligned with the board through every arc.
Set markers 6 feet apart. Slalom through using short, aggressive carves. Stay low and use your arms to drive each direction change.
Generate speed through body movement alone on flat ground. Extend up then compress down through each carve. No pushing allowed.
